I've tried most marketing channels...

And all I can tell you is, the higher your investment, the better the returns. (But only if you know what you're doing.)

So if you're new to marketing and need to start somewhere on a shoestring budget or none at all, this may sound daunting. Still, it's NOT impossible.

I started with a $0 budget and so did many others who wanted to create initial awareness about their business and bring in first sales. Here how to do it:

  1. Define the goal for your marketing. If you're new, the goal could be to increase awareness about your practice. That means that you need to let as many people as possible know about your practice.

If you've been in business for a while, your goals can range from "generating new leads" to "attract a certain number of clients every week".

  2. Once you know what you need to accomplish, look at your resources; your network, your tools (like EHR), your time, and support you have from people around you. Decide how you can leverage these resources to spread the word about your services.

  3. Start building your online presence using free tools or tools that you're already paying for. Use your EHR platform to build a simple website that allows the visitors to book an appointment with you.

Create a Google Business Profile for your practice to attract local clientele. It's free and can be extremely powerful if you want to stand out locally.

According to the statistics about local SEO, 46% of searches have local intent. That means that if you appear in local searches, you have a higher likelihood of attracting local clients.

  4. Collaborate with people in your network to host and appear in online and offline events. These can be interviews, workshops, or even loves on social platforms. Workshops are especially effective because you can hold people's attention for a long time and showcase your expertise.

  5. Repurpose your events for social media and network building. Watch this video to learn about 5 unexpected ways for repurposing your online workshops.

FINAL THOUGHTS

To prepare for this newsletter, I go through a lot of content and highlight the most relevant topics in every issue. I do that to bring awareness and encourage taking action.

Similarly, when you're on a tight marketing budget, the main goal is to bring awareness to your services. No matter what method you'll choose, if you remain dedicated to this goal, you'll see results.

So let's get started!

See you next week,

Avivit
