Book Your Call. NOTES FROM THE EDITOR"The Process Is The Product"Tim Stoddart, Quantum Leads I used to get stumped by one question that is inevitably being asked of me during most free consultations. "When do you think that I can expect results?" The honest answer to this question, of course, is: "It depends." Marketing is not an exact science, much less a guarantee. But this answer sounded so vague that I felt very uncomfortable giving it. So I’d give a padded estimate, not ideal for sales. Until one day, I decided to share this with my own therapist. What she told me felt like a revelation: "The only thing you can guarantee is the process." Ironically, I named my company REdD Strategy for my methodical work process. REdD stands for: research, evaluate, define, design. If you've ever worked with me you know that I do quite a bit of research into your business and competition, and only after evaluating the findings, we can define the strategy and design a plan. That's why the "d" stands out in the name. So can I guarantee results? No. In fact, no marketer worth their salt can, but my process is tried and true. It worked for me and it works for my clients. That's why I feel a special kinship with therapists too. None of us can guarantee a desired outcome, but we can guarantee that our process will bring the client closer to it. So the process IS the product. And now to the news! P.S. Want to share your thoughts on this topic? Just reply to this email, I'd love to know. INDUSTRY NEWSMental Health Rules for Pilots May ChangeA new House bill could modernize outdated regulations and reduce stigma around seeking care, especially in high-pressure jobs.
FINAL THOUGHTSOur world is expensive and full of uncertainty. So it's only reasonable to expect a return when you invest in marketing your practice. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees and quick results come at a high cost of expensive ads and low quality leads. To see real, sustainable results, we have to trust the process and stay consistent. I believe that it's true for healing and true for marketing. See you next week, Avivit |
