NOTES FROM THE EDITOR
Today's issue is different.
It's shorter because I have an ulterior motive. I want to capture your attention and focus on only one (very important) message.
And that is: it's absolutely crucial for you to build your own marketing system.
If you've been reading my emails, you're familiar with this concept already. I don't advocate for using one marketing channel over another to attract clients to your practice.
I don't think that one tactic alone, like SEO for example, will be able to consistently attract new leads. We're not in 2012 anymore. And trust me, I love SEO as a marketing tactic.
But what you need is a marketing funnel, an organized way of directing people who've never heard about you before, interested in working with you.
So why is this important? Why do I keep repeating this?
Because over the past few years, the mental health industry has focused heavily on expanding access to care. That’s a good thing. But it also brought with it low-fee models, VC-backed mental health tech, and AI-powered therapy tools.
Your competition has grown. A lot.
So where does it leave you? Comfortably, in a space in which people still want to have 1:1 therapy with a real live therapist. Working with those who value the right fit. Those who want you.
Your challenge doesn't lie in competing with larger companies and AI. It's cutting through the noise to make your voice heard.
And that is precisely my point.
If you want to cut through the noise and attract those people, you need a system. A simple, intentional one that works.
To better explain the benefits and the features of building a marketing funnel for your practice, read this post that goes into details and shows you how to do it.
And if you have any questions, just reply. I always answer.
Until next week,
