It Stops For No One

"Progress stops with me" - declared Governor Dutton's character on Yellowstone.

Several episodes later, he was dead.

If you've never seen the show Yellowstone, the premise is simple. Montana Cowboys want to preserve their way of life but they can't.

Because progress stops for no one.

With AI, not only the progress doesn't stop, it moves at an unimaginable speed.

Resistance is futile. All we can do is adapt to the new reality in which we work with AI agents and compete with them by being human.

For therapists who want to keep their caseloads full, it means marketing your practice more. Even if you accept insurance.

In our quest for creating more accessible care, we've developed AI-powered platforms like Wysa and Woebot, not to mention the same old ChatGPT where people go when they feel blue.

Competing with AI tools makes no sense because they'll always be cheaper and more available.

What you can do instead, is build a strong marketing system that emphasizes your humanity.

Here's what I mean:

  • Pick your niche and create an "ideal client's" persona
  • Define your brand and message
  • Spread your message online and offline
  • Build relationships that generate referrals
  • Deliver an outstanding experience for your clients

Sure, you can use AI tools and automations for that, but at the core, this system is still a human experience.

Hope this helps. If you have other thoughts, please reply to this email and share.

I'd love to hear from you,

Your Human Marketer

FINAL THOUGHTS

So here we are...

The tools may be changing, but the foundation isn't.

What matters most remains the same: ethics, trust, and safety. That means keep being human "on purpose".

Keep showing up. Keep it simple. Keep it real.

See you next week,

Avivit
