No, but really...

People want guarantees.

Every time I jump on a consultation call with a practice owner who's considering investing in marketing, I get the same question:

"How long does it take to see results?"

The honest answer is: "It depends..."

But it's also become a running joke among marketers because this answer is vague and deeply unsatisfying.

In reality, guaranteeing results in marketing is almost like guaranteeing results from therapy. There are just too many variables. That being said...

I recently partnered with Heard to write an article that addresses the question of "How Long Does It Take to Fill Your Therapy Practice?"

Changes in the Eating Disorders market

The high demand for Eating Disorders providers drove many opportunists into the market during the 2020-2022 pandemic years.

Now, the market is adjusting itself, filtering out quality providers and addressing its challenges.

Both quotes are representing the two opposing views on therapists' videos on TikTok in a recent article from The Independent.

Mental health providers are divided on the topic of TikTok as well, mentioning potential dangers that come from self-diagnosing, etc.

Normalizing psychotherapy for medical workers

A recent survey of 9,000 physicians in the US found that 49% feel burnt out and 20% reported feeling depressed.

Unfortunately, only 11% reported seeking mental health help because of fear of disclosure to medical boards and insurance records.
